We are so fortunate for coming across Alex and having him capture our wedding day! Alex went above and beyond taking beautiful photos of candid natural moments as well as important family photos, which he stayed extra to finish!

Alex somehow was in multiple places at once throughout the day and was right there when a special moment was happening. His photo booth was a big hit amongst our guests and was a fun way to incorporate into a guest book. We couldn’t be any happier looking through our high quality photos and have these memories documented to cherish for the rest of our lives.

Alex was absolutely amazing from start to finish. His quality of work is the reason you go with a professional photographer. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable with each shot, using tactics to distract us from just posing at a camara. His attention to details and quality can be seen in each photo. He knew how to capture the perfect moments with both our engagement photos and wedding. Everyone commented on how friendly, engaging, and professional he was.

The photobooth was also a huge hit, so definitely go with it. While Alex is running around capturing beautiful moments, so many family and friends were having a blast at the photobooth. Plus, you get a full album of them for your own viewing pleasure!

Lastly, due to the circumstances of the day, I got sick and wasn’t able to partake in a lot of the early pictures. However, Alex was absolutely sweet in staying longer in order to re-capture some pictures that were missed earlier in the day after I felt better. We greatly appreciated this when he didn’t contractually have to. I would recommend Alex for any occasion that calls for a professional photographer. He is an absolute gem to work with.

Alex took my husband and my wedding photos in August. We first met with him less than three weeks before our wedding. Even with the short timeframe, he met with us to share his photography philosophy, show photos from his portfolio, and explain what we could expect moving forward.

On our wedding day, he coached us on posing (we didn’t have an engagement photo session) and was never short of ideas that would produce great photos. I received many compliments from our guests about his strong work ethic and ability to be everywhere at the same time.

Alex was professional at all times, responded to correspondences in a timely manner, and provided a gallery overflowing with images within a week of our wedding. Most importantly, we now have wonderful, timeless photos that will last us a lifetime. Thank you!

Alex did an amazing job with our wedding photography this September. We got married at Valley Grove Church in Nerstrand, and he made sure to capture every detail that made the location special to me. He is very skilled at what he does and it shows in the photos we got back! I received multiple comments from family members on how hard he worked during our wedding. He also has a lot of articles written on his website with information and tips for being photographed, which was super helpful.

My husband and I are so glad we chose to go with Alex for our photos, he made us feel so at ease (we’re both shy in front of a camera). Alexandre was the first person to arrive at our wedding venue that morning, and one of the last people to leave at the end of the night. He captured every moment we wanted to remember, and even those we didn’t realize we’d want to remember for storytelling in the future. He has the expertise and talent to make sure that your shots come out looking fantastic—we had originally hired a different photographer and decided to go with French Touch Photography after our engagement session with our previous photographer. The difference in quality between their work was night and day! He (Alexandre) was organized, easy to work with (even with large group photos!), and he made sure that we got the pictures back before we’d even gotten back from our honeymoon. It was especially impressive because we got married in the peak of wedding season, so we know he was likely very busy at the time. Alex (at French Touch Photography) was a phenomenal photographer to work with for our wedding. He was recommended to us by a colleague and well worth the investment for the product he delivered. We were able to meet briefly in person to discuss plans for photos during the event and he was able to comprehensively explain his expectations and recommend adjustments to our schedule very quickly. Alex described his background and experience in photography which made our choice in hiring him very easy. We were confident we had made the correct choice and he proved that confidence in our wedding day.

During the event, Alex seemed to be everywhere at once. His timing was amazing, so often he seemed to be exactly in the right place to catch a special moment for both bride and groom. He also was not intrusive, and outside of specific points on our schedule, did not have people posing for shots. Many of the 800+ finalized pictures we received were natural candid shots, and even the staged poses looked natural in many of the pictures. Alex also had an amazing eye for lighting, playing with the various angles that light filtered into the venue. “Epic” is a great way to describe several portrait shots he took.

After the event, Alex told us he’d have the first 10 pictures ready in a few days, estimated a quick turnaround time for the rest of the pictures, and thanked us for working with him. He surprised us when he delivered the finalized pictures, all 800+, in half the time he estimated! We were very happy with the results, and family and friends all loved the pictures. My wife and I both agreed that when we need a professional photographer again, Alex will be our preferred choice.

Rochester does have hidden treasures if you spend time squinting real hard – French Touch Photography is certainly one of the gems!

My finance and I and have a very unpredictable schedule / work odd hours most times / have a day off together no more than once a month – it’s usually difficult to coordinate scheduled meetings. I wanted to surprise my fiancé with an engagement photoshoot last-minute; saw some of Alexandre’s work online and emailed him a couple weeks before the one I had off with my fiancé. Alexandre was very prompt, professional beyond expectations, flexible, and exceedingly patient with our schedule and often late-night email replies.

I’ve never had professional photos taken but Alexandre had info for every question I knew to ask and didn’t know to ask online – he was kind to go through them all with a virtual consultation prior to the outdoor photoshoot as well. It was immediately apparent that he’s an artist true to his work and let us know that there was no-exact “time limit” for a photoshoot- the session would be complete once he felt breadth and depth of moments captured was to satisfaction. Truthfully speaking devout scientist within my fiancé and I make us very awkward people at baseline, but Alexandre was exceptionally skilled at coordinating perfect moments in a really natural and comfortable way.

We received high quality digital photos very promptly in spite of having a photoshoot during peak wedding season when Alexandre was fully booked. The photos are absolutely stunning – not only do we appear to be in candid bliss but he so beautifully captured the warmth of sunlight, cool depth of forest, and soft movement of wildflower fields that we love. Top 12/10 professionalism, experience, and artistry – beautifully photographed moments to last more than one lifetime!

To start off, Alex is a wonderful photographer to work with! He’s hard working and dedicated, talented, and can occasionally throw in a joke or two! We originally met him to do our engagement photo shoot in the fall and we really liked the way his pictures came out.

We decided to go with him again for our wedding and he did another terrific job! We had a somewhat complicated wedding as it spanned multiple days and many events and he showed up on time for each occasion even though he lives farther away from the Twin Cities. He was also flexible and helped us customize a wedding package that fit our specific needs since we had multiple events.

An area where I thought he went above and beyond was he spent time setting up a stage and then taking photos of us with many different groups of family and friends. I haven’t seen other wedding photographers do this before but we really appreciated it since we now have high quality pictures of us with all our different guest groups!

Overall, Alex is a great guy to work with and we really appreciate the time he spent with us!

Where do I even begin… Alex is TOP TIER!! From our meet and greet to our wedding day, he always went above and beyond for us. He let us know all that he had to offer and we never felt pressured into buying more. While he gave us time to decide what package we wanted initially, he was also so quick to respond to our many questions and offer great advice through the entire process, even when we didn’t think we needed it. He has a distinct style that makes him an artist behind the camera. I would say Alex is a perfectionist and that proved itself in the ENTIRE gallery and products we received from him. His kindness and compassion for his clients radiates in every interaction, whether that was over zoom or in person. His fun uplifting personality added more sunshine on our big day and it would not have been the same without him!

Looking through hundreds of wedding photographers I came across French touch and took a look through his work, not only was I impressed I was stunned at the beauty of it. I saw the price and was worried because of everything else going on and didn’t know how I could afford him being our wedding photographer. Long story short I found a way and don’t regret it 1 bit.
