Terms and Conditions of the Engagement Session Giveaway
1. Purpose of the Giveaway
This giveaway offers one winner a free one-hour engagement photo session, provided by Alexandre Mayeur, French Touch Photography, a wedding photographer based in Rochester, Minnesota.
The retail value of the session is $450, and it is fully covered for the winner, total cost $0.
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, or Instagram.
2. Eligibility
The giveaway is open to adults residing in the United States who are currently planning a wedding.
Only one entry per couple is permitted.
3. Winner Selection
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries once a sufficient number of participants has been reached, in order to ensure fairness for all participants.
The winner will be contacted directly by email.
4. Description of the Prize
The winner receives:
- One engagement session lasting 1 hour
- Retail value $450
- Final cost to the winner $0
- One location
- One outfit
The session is photographed in a natural, candid, photojournalistic style.
5. Optional Additional Time
The winner may choose to add extra time at the following rates:
- One additional hour for $100
- Two additional hours for $200
Additional time is completely optional and allows for more flexibility and creative possibilities.
Extra outfit changes and locations are discussed during planning.
6. Image Selection and Retouching
All images are carefully selected by the photographer to ensure consistent quality and artistic coherence.
Included retouching is natural and basic only, including color, exposure, contrast, and overall image quality.
No beauty retouching or advanced aesthetic alterations are included.
7. Number of Delivered Images
The session includes delivery of all edited images selected by the photographer that meet quality standards.
There is no guaranteed minimum number of images.
Engagement sessions typically result in a generous gallery, depending on session length, location, and conditions.
8. Online Gallery Access
Images will be delivered through a private online gallery, accessible for three months from the delivery date.
9. Delivery Timeline
Final images will be delivered within two weeks after the session date.
10. Location and Travel Fees
The session takes place within 40 miles of Rochester, Minnesota.
Travel beyond this radius is rarely needed, but if applicable, mileage fees apply at the official reimbursement rate, currently $0.70 per mile.
11. Guests, Children, and Pets
Couples may bring their children, if they already have children, and their dog, if applicable, at no additional cost.
Any additional participants must be approved by the photographer in advance.
12. Paid Locations and Permits
If the chosen location requires an entrance fee and or a photography permit, such as botanical gardens, arboretums, or conservatories, all related fees are the responsibility of the couple.
13. Image Usage and Copyright
Images are provided for personal use only, including personal sharing on wedding websites or social media.
Images may not be sold, licensed, or used for commercial, professional, or promotional purposes.
Any commercial use requires prior discussion and the purchase of appropriate usage rights.
When images are shared online for personal use, proper credit is required:

14. Validity Period
The free engagement session must be completed within six months of the winner announcement.
A one-time extension may be granted at the photographer’s discretion, subject to availability.
15. Scheduling
Sessions are scheduled on weekdays or Sundays, based on the photographer’s availability.
Weekend sessions may be available for an additional fee.
16. Acceptance of Terms
Participation in this giveaway constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

To make your session better, there are a few things we can control.
- Location: the backdrop of your session plays a huge role. Here is a list of locations near Rochester, MN, and the Twin Cities.
- Your outfit. A great outfit would make you look your best. Before the engagement session, I invite you to send me a selfie, and I will let you know if anything needs to be changed.
- The weather: if we see it’s going to be raining, I usually recommend postponing.
- Sunlight and time of the day: to make it simple, in winter, the sun is good all day, in summer, we will want to shoot at the end of the day (check the golden hour calculator)
- Hair: I recommend going to the hairstylist one week prior to the session so your hair has the time to take they natural shape.
- Ideas: A good engagement session starts with ideas, activities, to share together, props, and a vehicle.
