Minnesota Wedding Budget Calculator
You just got engaged. You start Googling “how much does a wedding cost” and every website throws a different number at you. $20,000 , $30,000. $45,000. $60,000. None of them explain what’s actually included, and none of them reflect what things cost here in Minnesota.
It can feel overwhelming, especially if that 10-million-dollar inheritance from your rich great-aunt hasn’t shown up yet…
So you book your first two vendors based on gut feeling, and suddenly half the budget is gone with 80% of the planning still ahead. That’s when couples start cutting things they actually wanted (musician), or worse, stop tracking altogether and deal with the damage after the honeymoon.
This calculator, despite not be perfect for everyone, will at least give you a clear vision.
Set your region, guest count, season and select your day (because, yes, if you are not aware yet, price vary depending on your date).
We have even build some “wedding style budget” (just to have a global idea).
So, get a complete line-by-line breakdown with real pricing. Know where every dollar goes allow you to control your budget and match your priorities before you sign your first contract.
Where Do These Numbers Come From?

Our pricing is built from multiple sources: industry surveys from The Knot, WeddingWire, and Zola, combined with data from real vendors working in the Rochester and Twin Cities markets.
Large wedding platforms tend to skew higher than what couples actually pay in the Midwest, so we cross-referenced their data with quotes and rates from local caterers, florists, DJs, planners, and venues we've worked alongside for over 20 years. The result is a pricing range that reflects what Minnesota couples are actually spending today.
A road map
No budget calculator is perfect, and it certainly will not match every single vendor, since each one has their own pricing structure, not to mention all the possible options that make huge difference. But it does give you something incredibly valuable, a roadmap.
And yes, you might adjust that roadmap along the way, maybe increasing the budget for a vendor you absolutely love.
Still, having a map gives you clarity. And clarity makes planning a whole lot less overwhelming.
